SEQ History

SEQ Property Services Pty Ltd formed the first company established within SEQ Property Group. The company was started in 2003 by Dr Xiandeng (William) Hu and originally named International Investment and Education Centre Pty Ltd (IIEC). The original purposes of IIEC was to provide education promoting an investment mindset and strategy for individuals in relation to shares and property. After a few years of experience, it became apparent that property was the best investment vehicle in Australia for the clients of IIEC services. Therefore, the company started to place more emphasis on property and changed its name to SEQ Property Services Pty Ltd.

In the early stages, the main focus of SEQ Property Services Pty Ltd was property management. As the business expanded, in 2005 SEQ extended its business to cover property development as well. Since 2005, SEQ has been involved in the development of subdivisions, house and land packages, shopping centres, townhouse complexs and multiple story units.

As the expansion of the business continued, it was discovered that a single company structure was not efficient enough for a company with multiple business activities. Two new companies (SEQ Property Development Pty Ltd and SEQ Property Construction Pty Ltd) were formed in 2011 to separate the development and construction areas from the sales and management side.
